Boris Billing

Boris Billing has a track record not just as a leadership coach, but as a leader at Swisscom as well. He worked as an entrepreneur in his own startup centro and as Managing Director at Malik Management Zentrum St. Gallen, responsible for Management Education and Development. In addition to his degree in education from University of Marburg, Boris specializes in group dynamics and coaching. Read more about Boris

Carsten

Carsten Rübsaamen founded BOOKBRIDGE in 2009 as part of a boy-scout exchange in Mongolia. Impressed by the effect that a container full of books had on the lives of children in Mongolia, he decided to put his experience as a consultant and entrepreneur to use to support global access to education. As CEO, he is responsible for finances, strategy and the social enterprise programs.
Carsten studied Business Administration at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Vallendar, Germany. During his studies, he gathered professional experience in the banking, consultancy and construction industry. Carsten holds a PhD in Technology and Innovation Management from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Vallendar, Germany. With BOOKBRIDGE, he won several awards and recognitions. Cedric Dupont

Christoph Hienerth

Christoph Hienerth was appointed to the Chair of Entrepreneurship and New Business Development at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in June 2012. He holds a doctoral degree (equivalent to a PhD) from WU Vienna, where he also completed his post-doctoral degree (Habilitation) as an assistant professor at the Department for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Emilie Barallon

Emilie Barrallon studied International Human Resources Management and Business Administration up to a Master Entrepreneur HEC in France. Since 2002, she has been working in social business projects in Southeast Asia. She was supporting private companies and foundations to create and develop their programs such as international education in China, boat clinics in the Burmese delta and water relief in flooded villages of Bangladesh. Back from expatriations and now living in Basel, Switzerland, she recently joined BOOKBRIDGE. Read more about Emilie

Eranda GinigeEranda Ginige is the co-founder of Social Enterprise Lanka, Sri Lanka‘s first and largest social enterprise network. Eranda wants to escape the old capitalism model and progress to circular economies, embracing sustainability and creating breakthrough changes. As a business coach, Eranda facilitates the business and leadership development of our candidates in Sri Lanka. Prior to co-founding Social Enterprise Lanka, Eranda worked as a teacher in Sri Lanka as well as abroad before he joined the British Council as Head of Partnership and Innovation. Joanna Hafenmayer

Joanna Hafenmayer lic. rer. publ. HSG, from MyImpact, accompanies our participants in their personal learning journey. Joanna Hafenmayer is the Managing Director of MyImpact, an organisation focusing on helping leaders and organisations to realise meaningful careers. She is a leadership coach and an expert in a number of management instruments, such as Business Model Generation. Prior to 2012 she was member of the Executive Board of Microsoft Switzerland as their Innovation & Sustainability Officer and is a member of the Board of Öbu, the Swiss Think Tank for business and sustainability. Joanna is a 2010 First Mover Fellow of the Aspen Institute and author of “The Future Makers – A Journey to People who are Changing the World – and what we can learn from them.” Read more about Joanna

Jorge Cendales is CEO of HumanSpirit GmbH, a consultancy for change management, and business coach in our Capability Program. With over 30 years of leadership experience at IBM and HP Jorge is specialized in realizing transformations and creating visions within organizations. Jürgen Weigand

Jürgen Weigand holds the Chair of Microeconomics and Industrial Organization at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, and is Director of the Institute for Industrial Organization. Jürgen received his master, doctoral, and postdoctoral degrees in economics from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Before joining WHU in 2000, he held postdoctoral scholar positions at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University, Atlanta, and at the Institute for Development Strategies in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University, Bloomington. Jürgen also worked as a full-time senior advisor for the CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis, the Dutch government’s economic think tank in The Hague. Jürgen is the Founding Dean and Academic Director of WHU’s Full-Time MBA and Part-Time MBA programs. Since the beginning of 2010, Professor Weigand has also been the Academic Director of the Kellogg-WHU EMBA program. He has extensive teaching experience in post-experience programs, among them the respected Kellogg-WHU EMBA program. Katrin Baedorf

Katrin Baedorf is Director at the Center of Asset and Wealth Management at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. She studied Economics and Mathematics at the “Rheinische Friedrich- Wilhelms-Universität” in Bonn. Upon graduating with two diploma degrees in 2001, she joined McKinsey & Company, Inc., where she stayed for more than four years. In 2006 she joined the Center of Private Banking at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, where she completed her dissertation about the topic performance measurement of customer portfolios in private banking. Between 2009 and 2011 she was assistant professor at the Center of Private Banking. In her research she focused on asset management with particular interest in illiquid assets and behavioral finance as well as service quality within private banking. After her maternity leave starting in October 2014 as Director she is responsible for all activities and relationships at the Center of Asset and Wealth Management at WHU. Martin Högl

Martin Högl is Professor at and Head of the Institute for Leadership and Organization, Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. Martin teaches at the Center for Responsible Leadership at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. He has taught executive audiences at various levels of seniority in Europe, North America, and Asia. Focusing on leadership and organizational transformation, he has led various projects with major companies from the US and Europe. His specialties include strategy execution, creating high performance teams (incl. global virtual teams), fostering innovation, and developing values-based authentic leaders.

Nathalie Moral

Nathalie Moral from mavia, BA in business administration from the University of St.Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland, accompanies our participants in their personal learning journey. Nathalie is managing partner and founder of mavia, a social finance and philanthropy advisory firm based in Zurich. mavia offers its clients independent, personal and professional advice in strategic philanthropy, while collaborating with top tier implementers worldwide. Nathalie’s background is in management consulting and financial services, having worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in London and Bain & Company in Zurich. Prior to founding mavia, Nathalie was part of the LGT Venture Philanthropy team first in the role of an investment manager for Latin America, then heading the philanthropy advisory team. Accompanying her grass root experience within the non-profit sector in Bogota Colombia supporting Escuela Nueva in the areas of financial planning and international expansion strategy, Nathalie is co-author of “International Expansion of Escuela Nueva: a transformative pedagogy on a global scale” a case study supervised by professor Johanna Mair former professor at IESE Busines School in Barcelona, Spain. Peter Witt

Peter Witt Peter Witt holds the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management at the University of Wuppertal. From 2000 to 2006, he was the Otto-Beisheim Professor of Entrepreneurship at WHU. Peter is a long-term and permanent faculty member in the Kellogg-WHU EMBA program, the WHU MBA program, and the Bucerius-WHU Master of Law and Business program. Peter has been running executive education programs with major international corporations like Deutsche Börse, Deutsche Post DHL, ERGO, Evonik, Fraport, RWE and others for more than 17 years. He has also done consulting work in the fields of strategic management, innovation management and corporate governance for companies like IBM, LAKAL, Metallgesellschaft and others. Peter’s research interests focus on entrepreneurship, innovation management, and corporate governance. He has published his research in leading international journals like Entrepreneurship & Regional Development, Financial Markets and Portfolio Management, Journal of Business Economics, Management International Review, and R&D Management. Peter is author or co-author of four books on corporate governance, entrepreneurial finance, and the evaluation of growth companies. Peter teaches in our General Management Plus Program at WHU.
