BOOKBRIDGE Capability Program

This is the original program with which we back in 2011. The Capability Program (CAP) is a 100% learning by doing program. From Day 1, you take action and reflect on what you learn on your personal learning journey as an entrepreneur. A professional business coach equips you with the essential business know how to setup your own business. And a professional leadership coach reflects with you on your lessons learnt on a team, intercultural and personal level. The Capability Program includes 2 personal coaching sessions with the leadership coach.

Key target group for this program are individuals as well as talents from for-profit companies based in Switzerland. European modules take place in Switzerland.

WHU General Management Plus Program

The WHU General Management Plus Program (GMP) offers you a unique combination of for-profit management theory and practice. Professors at WHU teach you the fundamentals of general management in interactive sessions: strategy, leadership, finance, change management and entrepreneurship. At the same time, you set out to build up your own company in one of Asia‘s emerging economies. Guided by BOOKBRIDGE, you develop and implement a business plan for a learning center as a fully independent social enterprise.

Compared to the BOOKBRIDGE Capability Program, the WHU General Management Plus Program includes lectures in general management but has no separate leadership coach working with you as a candidate or the team. Key target groups are candidates who are in transition for a leadership position within their company, who have a different background than business or who would like to work as entrepreneurs in intercultural and challenging environments.

CAS in Global Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Basel

The CAS in Global Social Entrepreneurship (GSE) offers you a unique combination of non-profit management theory and practice. Professors and lecturers at the Center for Philantrophy Studies (CEPS) teach you the fundamentals of non-profit management. At the same time, you set out to build up your own social enterprise in one of Asia‘s emerging economies. Guided by BOOKBRIDGE, you develop and implement a business plan for a learning center as a fully independent social enterprise.

Compared to the WHU General Management Plus Program, the CAS in Global Social Entrepreneurship focuses on non-profit management. Key target groups are directors and project managers at foundations, employees at CSR departments and aspiring social entrepreneurs.
