Capability Program: Investors convinced!

Participants Workshop Capability Program 2013
The participants of our this years capability program
Last Thursday, the Takeo project team convinced the investors of their social business model for our learning center in Takeo, Cambodia. This means, the participants of our current capability program have taken the first big step. Congratulations! writes Martina in this post being in charge of the team at BOOKBRIDGE.

Andrew Know and Louise Jack from One Young World and Mr. Khnom Nuth, Provincial Director of Education, Youth & Sports Takeo agreed to the business plan for the Takeo Learning Center developed by the capability program team. Besides the positive business case, they were amazed by the in-depth market analysis and the strategic approach taken by project team.

After a successful concept and planning phase, the Takeo project team is busy with implementing the critical elements for a successful social business model: Contracts are signed, a suitable legal structure is approved and every day we receive new application letters for the project leader. It is very exciting to see the team growing together and to make fast progress on our project steps!

Therefore, I would like to thank the Takeo project team, our coaches Christian Langen and Torsten Weber from Bridging People and Ideas, Team Düsseldorf from WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management and our social business investors from One Young World! We are very excited to realize the project with you!
