It goes without saying we are excited for our upcoming Summit in May. We are even more excited as this year we will be joined by more Community Heroes than at any other Summit in the past. Thanks to generous donations from our Bridgebuidlers, we are able to invite 10 Community Heroes to participate in May in the Black Forest.

Our selection process started in November last year with interested Community Heroes filling in an online application, stating clearly what they can bring to the Summit, share with our family and then bring back and share with others in their community. Our Country Teams had defined clear criteria for selection of Community Heroes based on skills, experience, attitude and confidence. The applications were reviewed by the Country Manager and the Country Development Manager, and the following Community Heroes will be in Germany in May:

From Sri Lanka:
Sujitha Miranda, Bandarawela
Sampath Sri Senawatte, Kekirawa

From Cambodia:
Sreydieb Long, Takeo
Ravy Vang, Chreav
Sothika Khoeun, Ang Tasom and Angroka

From Mongolia:
Uugantsetseg Gantumur, Arvaikheer
Ankhiluun Davaa, Chinggis
Buyankhishig Zunorov, Khovd
Batchimeg Purevjav, Sainshand
Lkhamsuren Erdenedash, Murun

We’re excited to have such excellent representation from the learning centers’ level at the Summit. The Heroes are busily preparing to share about their daily lives, their successes and challenges as well as about culture from their countries with Bridgebuilders at the Summit.
