End of September, we kicked off our first Program with IAP Zürich. Where 10 European candidates, as part of the CAS in International Leader & Entrepreneur have the challenge to develop, implement and evaluate a community-based learning center in Steung Sen, a small town in Kampong Thom province, Cambodia.
During these 3 exciting days, Sanha, the Community Hero, joined the team to start their learning journey as social entrepreneurs together. 6 other Cambodian counterparts joined virtually to define a joint-vision that will guide the whole team towards the goal of setting a self-sustained social enterprise that will provide skills and bring opportunities to the community.
Throughout the sessions of this first course, Jorge Cendales the business coach, introduced the Desgin Thinking methodology and guided the team through the Business Model Canvas for a first protoype of their business idea. While Steffi Neuman, the leadership coach made the team reflect and find the best way to work as an intercultural team.
Following the kick off module, virtual teamwork on needs assessment and business modelling begins. The team will meet again end of October to develop a business plan and get ready to pitch to their investors during the third course in December.
