The 6th All Learning Center Staff Workshop of our Cambodian team took place at our learning center in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It aimed to discuss, review, reflect and reward the challenges the Community Heroes are facing but also problem resolutions.
All community heroes were encouraged to look at the quality framework and self-assessment in order to reflect to their learning center outcomes and challenges: Why and what needs to be improved and what support is needed from BOOKBRIDGE were the leading questions. In the meanwhile they understood and managed to seek alternatives and proactively set a strategy plan to prevent unexpected crisis or other events that may incluence the income of the learning center. Interestingly, teaching methods have been shared and worked really well since many business private schools always concerned about quality of education essentially, a 4-C concepts for example, Critical thinking, Collaboration, Communication and Creativity.
It was a perfect opportunity to refresh what you have experienced with and obtained from school to apply on your daily obligations. And in addition, project sustainability evoked the participants where they are right now. What they should prioritise to be urgent important while very few of learning centers still struggle to review their remaining investments and routinely incomes.
All the participants have been trained well after spending three intensive days of the workshop, specifically project based learning, to use less plastic bags and water bottles alternatives to use and project sustainability. The assignments have been introduced to compete between learning centers with its deadline submission. The selected Community Heroes to join the upcoming BOOKBRIDGE summit.
On the 4th day of the workshop, the participants were engaged in a teambuilding trip to an ancient capital city of Angkor Empire, Hariharaya, where is now located in Southeastern party of Siem Reap City, Roluos, and the Tonlesap Great Lake to see the stilted houses with its unique economic lifestyles.
